Yancey, I saw the feather sexing video too. After watching it, I went to look at the feathers on my chicks. There def was a difference in the wing feather lengths. Now, did I keep the chicks loony enought to see if the feather sexing was accurate? NO I DID NOT!!! I'm not that patient. Sorry

I watched a video and researched "feather sexing chicks"... Ok so who has done this? I saw you have to do it by 3 days of hatching and only really works on Large breed chickens...Thoughts ??? I wish I knew about this when I hatched my batch so I could give it a whirl!!! OK Holla back if ya done this before?!
PS and the treatment of chicks in a large commercial hatchery made my heart hurt just a bit...it's SO NOT the way i treat my chicks!
