Ok so I have been waiting patiently for Amy's guineas to lay me some eggs...went to Verdins and Laurens today and they tricked me into buying 4 keets! LOL...I still want my eggs though! They had sooo many different kinds of chicks it wasn't funny! bantam and LF...some from Hatcheries and some from locals! I just got guineas...I will post a pic in a few so yall can tell me what color I have! I need my eggies to have big siblings to help them out I hope...allthough when I put them in the brooder they tried to eat my chicks toes so now they are in a separate brooder...

Joy Saw your post and just wanted to say hi and that I enjoyed seeing you operation (lot of chickens) By the way this is Thom was out there week or so back with Perry. Get a chance check out my web site. fallonfamilyfarm.com I enjoy looking at what people are doing with their chickens thanks for showing us. By the way I had twins with RIR's once but they didn't live to get out of the brooder.

I am so sorry to hear of all of you who have lost some chickens, chicks and eggs. Seems like its been tough on the chickens lately.

Lauren, so happy to hear that the d'anver roo is still holding his own. Hope he continues to thirve.

Our Guineas laid there first egg yesterday and we got another one today. So I think we should be getting regular guinea eggs soon.

This weekend, we hope to have our first turkeys to hatch. They are on lock down. Fingers crossed that they hatch.

Samantha, you will see how fast those keets are, they cracked me up watching them and their zoomies. Enjoy the guineas. They are a frustrating bird, but I still like them.

Hi Thom! It was nice to meet you and Perry. Did you get the eggs in the incubator for him? Hope you have a good hatch, and I will check out your website.
