I know it is.. I'm just very impatient LOL.. I set them Thursday night after I had to fight with the incubator to get it regulated. It took me forever to get the temp just right and constant. So far so good though I've had little issues with the temp and humidity. So far I've been fighting the urge to peek though. I figured I'd wait till this coming weekend to peek. That way I can get a good look at all of them. I read that the darker eggs are harder to candle so I wanted to just wait and candle them all at the same time, but I tell you it's been killing me not to peek. LOL
Alright now Dee...it is still a little early to peek!! Give it to thurs/friday at least!! I am sure you set friday? Maybe Thurs night!LOL

Guess I better not tell you that by now the bantam(cochins) eggs you would be able to see a start in!!! I was an eager beaver too and candled everyday my first run...but the constant handling can be bad so I had to learn to resist!!

A Buffalo Monday Night.
4 large luzianne tea bags in a coffee maker.
1 glass coffee cup of sugar.
mix and top off with ice in a gallon jug.
Pull up a pillow and watch this weeks hatch......
Listening to the sweet sound of new life peeping.
Nothing equils the peace of mind my chickens can bring.
Life is grand

Must resist the urge.. Must resist the urge LOL.. I'm going to be good no matter, and resist the fact that I really want to candle them.. I'm gonna wait and candle them all at the same time.. Even though I could really use some good news after today.. One of those days :(

Good Luck and Have fun...It will tear the nerves. Mine hatched a day early and in the night so I missed everything...Saw the first one pip then nothing for hours and sometime in the night they all popped out and I woke up to messy little wet babies!!!
