Cool!!
A Buffalo Monday Night.
4 large luzianne tea bags in a coffee maker.
1 glass coffee cup of sugar.
mix and top off with ice in a gallon jug.
Pull up a pillow and watch this weeks hatch......
Listening to the sweet sound of new life peeping.
Nothing equils the peace of mind my chickens can bring.
Life is grand

So.. Curiosity got the better of me.. I ended up candling my bantam cochin and mf eggs that are in the incubator.. really needed some good news after today (it's been a day of bad news) anyways, to my surprise all of the MF eggs are fertile (yippie) and all but one (not really sure about the last one) are fertile.. (woo hoo). I'm so happy, I definitely needed this great news after today.. now I just have to wait until the weekend to candle the rest to see what other surprises I may have :) It definitely put me in a better mood..and a great way to end a horrible day..

He is awesome and looks like he is ready to SIINNNGGGG out that wonderful CROWING!!! I would love to add JG but just do not have room right now!!! He would be a fine addition for any place! I am sure you will find him a great home shortly!!! If I had room I would be stalking this blue guy for sure!!!

Gaston bound Saturday morning with Silver/Gray Dorking pairs (only offering pairs right now 11 to 14 weeks old) and Ameraucana/EE mix trios and maybe 1 quad and 1 pair of those...showing pretty and various feather coloring of blue/green egg laying chickens! (Also will have a few young Silver/Gray Dorking roos) None of these chicks are hatchery or TSC stock!!!

I know I was super excited to see all the fertile eggs. I kept checking eggs and each one I checked was fertile..I was like oh my LOL.. Faith loved watching me candle she thought it was so cool to see inside the egg and the veins and such.. Thankfully I had watched Kris & Robert candle a couple of their eggs before so I knew what to look for (Thanks Robert) :) So.. so far so good.. I will let you know about the others. Thank you so much..
