I hate this new BYC set up! I can't see crap on here anymore. It takes forever to load a page.

Anyhow, Congrats on the baby! PIX, PIX, PIX!!!!

We now have 3 peeps. There is 3 more eggs of theirs to hatch, and 10 wyandottes. So far nothing on the rest of the eggs, but we question the temp may be a tad low, so it could be later to hatch. Our fingers are crossed that more of them will pip and zip. At least all that have piped have hatched.

Will definitly get pictures for you.

I had a wonderful visit with Amy today. Picked up 4 chocolate guinea keets. They are in the brooder and seem to be content.

I always love visiting with you, Miss Mary! I hope those keets turn out to be really good for you. They are so pretty growing up. And you saw how nice the parents look.

I have Pearls sitting on eggs in a nest and I have many more eggs in the bator. Keets are so cool.

I have 4 Pekin girls growing up right now plus an unrelated quad that is mature. I love my Pekins because they lay bigger than Jumbo eggs. I so often keep them for eating here because they won't fit in Jumbo cartons.
I did set one of the biggest eggs and candled it yesterday because DH said it had to be a double yolker but nope, I only saw one yolk to start with and it is thriving in the shell and due to hatch soon. That is going to be some big baby!

Interestingly enough though, I hatched a blue Swedish out last year for a friend and my DD loved it at hatch because it was HUGE! She let us keep it. One of the biggest babies I have ever seen. I just knew it was going to be a boy. But again, nope! Francis grew into a lovely lady that lays nice extra large eggs. But she was just humongous at hatch! You would have thought she was to be a big boy. But she is an average sized Swede.

I just recently hatched 15 . My neighbors house burnt down so he gave me his two drakes and bought two females. I think daisy is possibly a jumbo. She is quite larger than the others. I didn't expect such a good first hatch since they say ducks eggs are harder to hatch.

I'm so excited, we have exactly 9 days until our eggs are to hatch. I've candled them and they are looking really good so far. So hopefully we have a great hatch. but the waiting is killing me LOL.. :)

I know I"m going to have a great hatch, and even if I don't girl it wasn't your fault. It was probably me and my craziness LOL.. I was a little worried the other day because sometime during the night my temp spiked up in the incubator, and I didn't see it until I woke up the next morning. I'm not sure how long it had been that high or what. I guess we'll see when it comes hatch time though. Anyways, It's not your fault if nothing hatches..its mine, and I will not blame you one bit.. :)

Mom had a spike to 107 ...and still had a good hatch...and I know you won't but I just want you to have a great hatch is all!! I always want my eggs and chicks to do well!! I know everyone does but I really really worry over it still!
