I have porcelain silkie babies hatching...3 so far.

I had a guinea go missing over a week ago. Violet was one of my original guineas and the only violet colored one I had. There was a big commotion down in the woods that day. I looked but did not find anything. She did not come back that evening so I figured she's either setting or was caught by a preditor. A male guinea usually stays with a female during the day to guard her when she is setting but he leaves her at night. So the next morning I followed them and none of the males went to her. They all stayed together all day. So I figured she was dead. She never came into eat until today. ( she was slipping into the buff orp pen and getting water and food because the gate is usually open) Today I walked out of the chicken coop and there she was. I followed her back to her nest. She has 19 eggs and 5 maypops under her. We moved her to keep the predators from getting her. If she does not get on the eggs, they will go in the incubator in an hour.
