Raised there, moved away after I married my sailor - gone for 26 years, moved back for a few years, then settled out here. Still go "home" two or three times a year to visit my awesome family, but couldn't live there anymore - too many people, too much traffic in the area I was from. Here we only have 2 stoplights in the entire county, and a traffic jam is when Crosby's move their cattle from one end of town to the other. No house to house mail delivery - everyone has to go to the PO to pick up mail. Small, quiet, and surrounded by mountains.

Hi! We are in Vermillion, and we're looking for a duck breeder nearby to avoid the big shipping costs. Does anyone know of a duck breeder within 2-3 hours? We're willing to go further if necessary.

I recently lost a flock due to some very old poison bait. Got that cleaned up.

So in search of some hens (I have one left). Would take even some older hens, 4-5 would help as I have one bird left. I will be getting chicks asap, but would like something to keep my lone girl happy.
