Hi there, just joined to read about fun info for my chickens. I have a small flock, a Rhode Island Red, a Delaware and two black star (who are about 3 three weeks old and think they can take on the be big girls.)
Anywho, I am surprised no one from SoDak is on the forum. So I send a friendly Hello.

You have a nice flock, you'll be getting lots of eggs, especially with the BSL girls.

Hi, I'm from SD, over by Rapid City. I just bought my first chicks in April from Runnings. Can't wait for them to mature so that I can start enjoying some fresh eggs.

Good Day! SD does seem a little quiet. Hello from Spearfish! I'm new to chicken ownership, but have experience working on farms with chickens, so I'm a little over my head, but not completely lost at least. Ha! Hope all is well with everyone!
