I got a Welsummer and a Golden Wyandotte chick at Easter (along with 3 other pullets) and yesterday one of them started crowing. I'm not sure yet which he is - Wyandotte or Welsummer but I will have photos later. He has a beautiful blue tail and seems to be a good rooster so far. However, I live in a residential neighborhood that will probably react badly if he continues to crow.
I'd rather he go to a good home (instead of a stew) but what you do with him after you get him is your business. Gifts are gifts, after all.
So if you are interested in my lovely rooster, please let me know. I'm sad to say goodbye to him but he must go. He is very interested in my seven hens, so the sooner the better.
I live on the western side of Camden County (Cherry Hill). I'll drive an hour to deliver!
Thanks,
