I just saw on my local animal shelter site that they have a muscovy drake up for adoption.

This shelter does not normally handle livestock and I worry that he is not being cared for properly. I don't like the write up they have either. It makes it sound like if you have some space in your yard, come on in and take him and plop him there all alone. Ugh.
I cannot take him sadly. I have a small Runner drake and I don't think he could defend himself against a Muscovy drake. And don't have enough room to separate my Muscovy girls and this guy and my mixed flock.
So, hope someone nearby can take this poor lonely guy.
