I'm in MD and they were looking to clear all their chicks out ASAP I think. They had a special that if you bought 15 you got 3 free. No way DH was going for that! But 5 was doable.
I'll try to post some photos tomorrow. They are the cutest little fluffies!
We are rehabbing our shed which used to be an old chicken coop back into a coop. There is torn up linoleum that we pulled out yesterday to find old newspapers lining the floor. One had an ad for a feed store. But a 25 lb bag of chick feed and get 25 free chicks, buy 50 lb, get 50 free, buy 100 lb, get 100 free. The ad was from 1953! Kind of cool. That is one oooooooooooold coop.
