Soy content in feed?

Have you guys tried asking your feed stores to special order the organic stuff? The ones areound here that don't carry it already (,ost do) will special-order it for people. Even Tractor Supply. I know that Blue Seal makes an organic line, so if your feed store carries Blue Seal they should have no trouble special-ordering. I'd call around and ask, it never hurts.

By the way, around here organic feeds only come in 50# bags...

P.S. I do not know if Blue Seals' is soy-freer. I know that Countryside Natural has a soy-free organic feed. Nature's best is another brand I can get but I threw away the ingredient label so I can't check what's in it. My best guess is that the ones not specifically labeled "soy free" do contain soybean meal....but not GM.

If concerned about soy and want to raise birds up for meat find a local cheese maker and get the whey they normally throw away. Best chicken you will ever taste is the end product.
