Soybean Spouts

My brother works for a farmer, and last year we brought home several 50lb bags of spilled soy beans. Long story short, we discovered that unless cooked you should not feed soybeans; the chickens aren't really interested in the cooked soybeans, so I was wondering about sprouting them...would they be safe to feed that way?

I don't think so, but have nothing other than foggy memory banks to base that on.
