Hi,This one just turned 4mo.
Is this a male or hen? And can you also tell me why you believe it's a male or hen. I have 6 more to sex but first time owning spaldings.
Thank you.

He is pretty low percentage, I am going to guess cock.
I want to learn the difference between low , medium and high percentage. I know you have dealt with them for many years and you have the eye. What do you see?

Also so what do you see to guess for a male?

First, his head is round and short, Spalding is more triangular and long. It also does not have the mound for the crest to grow out from. His legs and neck is short and too much blue on the neck. There is no yellow coming in on the face. There is a lot of barring on his back like a regular IB. Here is a mid to high Spalding two year old.

I forgot to ask, at what age they start to get yellow in their face? If they are spaldings.
