Yep, it's a bank of servers or they have several computers sending out spam. Not just sending them here but other sites as well.

That is EXTREMELY annoying! Think of how the new people wanting to introduce themselves feel when they look at that? They probably think we have all s sorts of spam all over the site! I just went through and reported them all too :/
