Yes that is what I thought but it breeds true to its colors and patterns

If they were the same pattern, both birds would be similar in appearance since they’re both hen-feathered (one being a hen and one a rooster with the hen-feathering gene).

The hen looks like an OEGB. The male looks like a mix. Has he been dubbed? Or? Hen feathering is unusual in most anything bar Sebrights. With a weird comb and hen-feathering, it's entirely probably the bird is mixed and has Silver-Sebright in him.
