There was a thread here recently about a stealth coop built underneath a deck. You would have a huge amount of space for 4 bantams, so odor control should not be difficult. There are so many factors -- air flow on that side of the house, type of litter, etc., etc. The pine shavings that many use seem to control odor well; if I did this, I'd fix up a way to sweep them into a wheelbarrow.
