IT IS! I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED ON THEM! SHE WOULDNT BE DEAD IF I WOULD HAVE CHECKED ON THEM BUT NO THERE FINE THERE ALWAYS FINE! MY POOR POPPY

It is not your fault sparrow! When Aspen died, i blamed myself because I didn’t notice earlier, i didnt give her her medicine quick enough, i didnt take her to the vet early enough…But its never your fault, truly.
Pkease dont blame yourself, becuase theres nothing you could have done. The hawk killed poppy, not you.

I HATE MYSELF FOR LETTING THIS HAPPEN!!

I find it God's grace that it wasnt daisy she is my bonded baby and that I cant remember seeing her dead.
We are heading out, I dont want to be home.

Please don't be too hard on yourself. There's always gonna be would ofs, could ofs and should ofs but we've all went through this or will.
It's unfortunately part of keeping chickens. Celebrate her life and hang onto those memories.
You'll be in my thoughts today.
