Imo it was fully deserved. They are very strict about photography and while they will sometimes allow it if you ask, it is very disrespectful to them as you are going against a well known rule.

I get it but to slap? sorry I hate that lol, plus they dont mind it if it helps promote their business'

there are a ton of different types of Amish. Old order Amish are very very strict. New order are much more “lenient”
