This isn’t my first time with the rats. I usually poison them, but this time there's too much of a risk of the cats getting poisoned too.

I remember hearing about a poison that only effects mice/rats if eaten and is safe around cats and dogs

It was in trashcans, now its in plastic bins with lids that latch shut

Metal? Rats can chew through concrete. They don't like tin foil though.

My class dissected rats last year we had to name them... One group named their Remmy.

my parents used to have a mouse problem years ago but my older brother who was a baby at the time kept eating rat poison : )

I bet! I heard some good success stories with it

I use the one bite stuff from my feed store. On the trap, I'm using a Ratinator.

didnt know that! I did know they can get through basically any hole
