Yes. He had a 3" gash in the big meaty part of a hind leg that needed a drain put in, and they had to anesthetize him to put it in. I didn't even know he was hurt for several hours, when I saw a drop of blood on the floor, and when I took him to the vet next morning it took them quite a while to find it through all that hair.

wow poor dog... i'm glad he's doing better, and I pray he learned his lesson

I think I know that movie and that's why I didn't see it

Yeah I won't watch dog movies either. I was severly traumatized by Bambi when I was six, then by Old Yeller later. Still won't watch Where the Red Fern grows. Why does anybody think these are good movies for kids? Or even good movies, for that matter? Good movies have happy endings!

ive only seen bambi and hated it also hated dumbo and pinocchio

I loved where the red fern grows. But ya super sad.
Idk it's hard losing a dog so idk why they end so many with that.

Yeah hopefully he'll stay home after this. My SIL and BIL put a house in our pasture about a year ago with their two dogs. We never had neighbors before that. I'm not happy about it. Sammy never went up the road till they moved in. And they accidentally put it on our property!
