Oh I think there is a pretty good chance of me getting a cockatiel. I didn't really care a while ago but I've been doing a ton of research and I made Maybelline ask Logan a cockatiel question lol.

I was looking at rescues but nothing near me. I found a really good breeder though! No pet stores near me kept their birds correctly.

also NEVER get parrots. do as I say not as I do.
I plan on getting 2. incase there are days where they are only able to be out for 2 hours or so, I don't want them to get lonely

trust me on this lol! all the cheap cages are only big enough to be a carrier. I have the money for everything because I did some work for a family friend recently, but it's basically going to cost me everything I have. and the vet... oh the vet.

also that's not my plan of coarse!! I want to have them out a minimum of 4 hours each day

and I get the whole cage thing the big ones range from 250 to beyond lol

yep! avian vets do, but they're more expensive then a dog or cat vet because it's a bit of a "niche."

I want to have a vet fund for emergencies and yearly checkups

I was lucky to get a decent sized one for my canary for around 80... it was on sale lol
