I def recommend them, but they are prone to poopy butts (like most meat birds) so you do have to keep an eye on that. I also recemmend getting a block for the nesting boxes because they will try to sleep there instead of the perches. But it is worth it bc their meat is much better, and they're legs and wings rival my heritage turkey's in size.I haven't raised meat birds before but lately I've been thinking about it. It's more humane that way and I think it's a good thing to learn.
