Speaker wanted in Lapeer County

Hello, I am co-president of the Master Gardener Association in Lapeer County. We are looking for interesting speakers/topics for our meetings, and thought that something on raising chickens might be of interest.

Is there anyone that would be interested in speaking to our group? We normally meet the first Wednesday of every other month. Our next meeting is August 1 at a member's home in the Lapeer County area.

Also, what would you charge as a speaker's fee, if any?

Unless there is another Lapeer County, it is in mid-Michigan. Next county over from Flint, and north of Detroit an hour or so.

I apologize. I originally found this forum by searching for Michigan only, and I thought that the entire forum was for Michigan.

Lapeer County is in Michigan, lower peninsula, between Flint and Port Huron. I will search for a Michigan only forum and post there.

Maybe you can find a 4H club or FFA club in your county. I would think it will be hard to find a local only chicken forum

Also, try craigslist.org for your area... maybe post under pets or farm/garden. It is a free list.
