Speaking of WalMart

I think the only thing I have purchased from Wally World lately is just some Blazer .45 230gr. I try not to purchase things that are exclusively Wally World items, but rather stuff that is the same at several stores, but might be a bit cheaper at the said store.

Not a big fan of Wally World. Before I go in, I always go through a mental preparation to ready myself for the sights I will see when I go into that humanitarian disaster zone.

Got me too!

It's not just wal-mart, but any big box store aka "china-mart". It has to do with how the stores put mom and pop shops out of business, the garbage they import, general business practices and how they treat their employees.

I on the other hand, could care less. I shop where I shop. If I go to wal-mart for baby formula at $10 / can instead of mom and pop's $20 similac, too bad for them. Businesses need to compete or die, ya know, capitalism.

I don't like self check out though. I've used it a couple of times when I have one or two items, but typically I stay away from it.

I'll try to phrase this as nicely as I can...

It seems like Wally World is where all the shady and up to no good grungy people in the community gather. Also, a lot of the goods they sell there are cheap, of low quality, and come from China (I know, most of our stuff does, but still).

They are also the largest store of their kind and drive out small businesses that used to thrive since small business can't match prices of the larger ones since they can't buy in bulk.

I guess that about sums up about all I'd like to post publicly.

I am sorry but I can think of alot more items that I would not buy there.....

Feminine Hygene
Diapers for old & young
Mouse Traps
Insect Control
Can you imagine the cleaning aisle?
not to sure I want to visit the cough & cold remedy aisle either.....

As to Wally World - environmental & labor policies are my beef with them.
