Special Needs Chicken

I received some chickens from the local school. I believe one of the chicks is blind. Does anyone have any experience with this? Can a blind chicken make it? Can they be integrated into a established flock? I would love any help with this as she is a real sweet girl.

They can't really fit in to a flock, but raised with people they can make it... But being sight-guided birds, they don't seem to have a good quality of life... Pictures?

Blind in one eye is fine. Two, not so much. Better to finish it off fast than let it get bullied or starve. Sorry.

Looks normal to me. Maybe I can't see the eyes well enough. I was thinking it was hatched with dead eyes or cysts on the lens. I have had that in ducks and chickens and they do fine with one eye. Are you sure it's blind?

She can't find food and doesn't see your hand if you wave it in front of her face.

Hmm...I'd be surprised if she made it this long as being blind without a lot of Special Care. I've seen people keep blind chicks on here they just keep their food and water in the same place at all times so the chicken knows where to find them. I think they would do better as a House Chicken as a pet.
