Hi everyone,

Since I am from a region far away from you guys, I would like to show you a special Kurdish breed which is called mixed Shami/Kurdish breed. It is very tolerant, beautiful, strong and brave fighter.

Here is a video of an example. Although I don't have that breed (I have typical Kurdish breed), but I just wanted to share it with you.

You can also post pics of your roosters if you like.

I will as soon as I can. So far they are a disappointment. The hen has a nice tail. Even the Polish rooster has a nice full and long tail. The cockerel's tails are thin and wispy. Maybe as they get older.

I hope so dear and maybe when they age.

That's a lovely looking rooster Chelsea-85.
Very game fowl looking.:)
Have you got nay pictures of local hens?
Thank you dear, yes he is very cute :)

Yes, here are some photos of local hens and roosters including my pullets (at that time they were only 3 months old) now the white one is broody sitting on 7 eggs (day 12) :)

What a beautiful rooster! Thanks for sharing. It's neat to see breeds that are new to me.

You say you have "typical Kurdish breed". Do you have hens and a rooster? What do they look like?

Here are my roosters.

Here on BYC and in the UK there seems to be a craze for Silkies. I really don't understand it. I would rather have chickens like those in your pictures.
