Speckled Eggs

What breed of LF chicken is best for laying large speckled eggs, and WHERE do I get them? Hatchery, Breeder? I'd love to hear your suggestions for a hatchery or breeder.

Welsummers, Marans, Penedesencas - Any dark egg laying breed usually give you some nice large speckles and blotches and the sort. I always recommend from breeders though.

I have two hatchery Welsummers that lay a tiny light brown egg, not one speckle on them. Can you point me in the direction of a good Welsummer breeder, please?

I bought welsummers this fall and they lay a speckled egg. They were from a breeder and this was the second generation of birds he bought from Ideal.
