Speckled Eggs

For few week one of the girls was giving us beautifully speckled eggs, tan with dark speckles. Was it something she was eating? Any ideas on how to make it happen again?

We have an EE that sometimes lays green eggs and sometimes lays green eggs with brown speckles. It is totally random with her. I hope you get an answer!!

It's normal. I get all kinds of speckled eggs. I like to say my favorite little hen "kisses" hers before she sends them on their way because hers are always speckled on one end only.
I've seen blue speckles and pink ones too.
ETA: I read your last sentence. No way to make it happen again as far as I know. It's a random thing.
