im going to hatch some for somebody just wondering about the breed and if somone had some pics of them

I don't see how a barred rock male to rhode island red female will give sex links though they should be nice laying hens. The other way around would give black sex links. I'd expect the offspring of this match to all be colored about like the barred rocks, probably with some red leakage, especially around the necks.

oh my bad i thought it was cause it had the word star in it and it was listed with the sex links

it didnt say it was sex linked i misread

With a Barred Rock roo one RIR hens though, you would get all barred chicks, with barring rangeing from black barring like barred rocks ( execpt the roos would be dark het. barred) , some that would be barred with a little red leadage,and possibly some that would be nearly red barred with a color simiar to crele.
