Speckled Sussex 15 weeks Pullet or Roo

I'm that person. Pullet or Roo? My other rooster is very obviously a rooster, but I feel like my S.S. were slower to develop and since I lost one of them at 3 days old, I'm not sure on this ones gender.View attachment 1803011 View attachment 1803011

She's 100% pullet.

My Speckled Susses hens all had penchants for crowing. My current hen has perfected her technique and sounds no different than the two roosters in the flock.

Thanks all! I honestly thought this lady was a roo at first because she started developing a comb and more adult feathers before her sister. But then, I started to wonder so I thought I would ask all of you lovely folks, who are always super helpful. Unfortunately we lost her sister and 8 other birds to a dog attack about 3 weeks ago, so I had no comparisons.

This was one of the reasons that I was confused as well lol. I have seriously been back and forth with this bird for a few weeks.

Its the saddle feathers that count. Those feathers just look like that because you're chicken is still growing in adult feathers after her juvenile molt.
