Wow!! That’s quite the experience LOL. Such interesting creaturesI had a very cluncky black wyandotte chicken whom I suspected was a rooster for so long. It was a big hen and had a big fat wide comb as wyandottes do. I have friends that would beg for some chicks, and I always held that one back because seemed so rooster-ish. Finally the day came and she laid an egg. So that amazed me up till the end.
I had another little silky/bantam ameraucana I thought was a rooster, she was raised with 2 roosters, and she was more aggressive than they were, she would follow me about and attack me. I was almost going to put her down then she laid a little green egg, I picked her up and loved her and was so happy, and after that she never beat me up again, but she would come over to get held every day.
