Speckled Sussex and Cuckoo Maran

So, I got 2 chicks (a speckled Sussex and a Cuckoo Maran) and I know it's really early - they're 1 weeks old - but Im going to post this anyways. So, boy or girl? I can already see the combs on both of them

They both look like roos to me bc I can already see both of their combs ( the Cuckoo Maran too) <no good pics

x2 Theres really no way of telling what gender they are unless you vent sex them which is done by professionals. You're just going to have to wait a few weeks.

It is too early to say they are anything but adorable

The small comb bud visible is not indicative of gender in these breeds as chocks of birth sexes will have them

Update:

Today the chicks went outside for the first time!

They immediately started pecking the ground and digging. Then they started following me around and I almost stepped on them like 10 times

Their wings are starting to grow!
Oh yeah and btw their names are Fluffy and Puffy
