I was curious about that too. I saw a post on another thread that said their SS was 16 wks and 4 days. I was happy to hear that as the place where I purchased my organic chicks from (they got them from a hatchery but I don't know which one) they said I won't get eggs until February. I'm hoping that my girls will be early too as I can't seem to find healthy eggs at the local health food store. There are so many brands that say "healthy feed" or "healthy diet", or they say vegetarian diet (this frustrates me because these people who supposedly know what they are doing, are torturing their poor omnivor chickens with a vegetarian diet), which includes soy, but doesn't say it's organic. From what I understand, if the soy is not organic it's GMO. There is only one supplier who has the eggs that I want to eat (besides when my chickens start) and they are not getting very many eggs these day. There are no eggs on the shelf for the last month or longer.
