Speckled Sussex crosses

Hi posted before but can't find it again lol how would speckled Sussex rooster go crossed with australorps or for how would they do for egg production or for the pot would the as X australorps be a black speckle thanks in advance

Why don't you cross them with the Rhode Island Red instead? Basically the same color without the mottling. Best ,
