Speckled Sussex - MALES or FEMALES? (and is my hen a speckled sussex?)

I e-mailed the breeder and this is what was said:

"nope they are all pure- we keep them seperated in their own hut for breeding and they havent free ranged in at least 6 months"

UPDATE: She confirmed that is wasn't a Speckled Sussex and it is possible that it could be a Columbian rock.
