I think it's a hen, my speckled sussex roo is only 4 weeks old and has a very distinctive bigger comb already, so I vote for yours being a hen! :)

Pullet or Cockerel??? I'm kind of hoping boy but I doubt it.

Hi, I have 4 Speckled Sussex and I was wondering the same thing. Mine are 12 weeks old now. So was it a Hen or a Rooster?

I have 2 that I'm confused on roughly 9ish weeks.

Yet another roo vs hen question. I have 11 week old chickens which were vent-sexed as day old chicks. They should all be hens, but all the error I hear about make me wonder. Anyways, I can tell by saddle feathers that the Deleware and Barred Rock are hens and the Star is a sex link. I was feeling good about the Sussex, but now I have noticed green/brown iridescent feathers on her back, which makes me wonder. Anyhow, what does the all-knowing Internet think? Hen or roo?
