speckled sussex...Should i get them???

i am considering getting a flock of hens that i will keep seperate from the rest of my chickens and sell hatching eggs from them....i am thinking about getting speckled sussex...is there any demand for this breed?

if not what would be a good choice for me?

I just hatched my first speckled sussex this week, so I really can't answer your question, but I can tell you that those chicks popped out on day 19 like they were popcorn. These were shipped eggs too so they must travel well unlike some other breeds.

I LOVE my SS. She is great!! Don't know about demand, but she's the best. Here she is, "miss big mouth"

if not speckled sussex does anyone have any other breeds in mind?

Pure Ameraucana are hard to find, therefore the demand would be good. And Dorkings and Delawares come to mind.
