UPDATE: Never mind this post, lol.... I don't know how to delete it. I know it isn't a Jubilee because it was not a yellow chick.
I have been looking online, trying to find anything that would show me, side by side, the differences between a Speckled Sussex and a Jubilee Orpington.
I have what I thought were two 3 month old Speckled Sussex. They have looked different from one another since they got their feathers in. And I noticed that one lost it's long feathers in it's tail and is now more a fluffy rump. The other one has the longer tail feathers that hens (not roosters) have.
So now I am wondering if they are both even the same breed, although, I do understand that SS chickens can look very different from each other.
Does anyone possibly have both breeds that they can share, side by side, the differences and possibly explain to me how I can go about figuring out if my one is a Jubilee or a SS?
