Speckled Sussex

Hello,

I have what I think is an SS cockerel but he is 20 weeks old and hasn't let out a single crow. The other one is a White Cochin and I am wondering the same thing.

At 20 weeks, you'll *know* if he's a roo, regardless of crow. Mine was a late crower.



That's Ringo, around 20 weeks or so.

I have a SS hen as well.

Looks pullet, but the pic is kinda dark to tell.

If you only have one speckled sussex, it's a pullet, not a cockerel. You saw my pic of my rooster, yes?

Yes I did see it. I was just using this photo as a comparison.
