Speckled Sussex

I have bantam Speckled Sussex. As a whole they are inquisitive, friendly, and some are extremely chatty. Some hens got broody, some never have. I've raised four roosters, three were great. The hens lay well, not daily, but I don't mind.

Three of my hens:

Year olds on the left, 2yo on the right. They get whiter with each molt.

Zaccheus is molting, usually he has gorgeous sickle tail feathers.

My chicks arrived today from Meyer hatchery, they are healthy and very lively, I’m going to hydrate them for a couple of hours then give them some feed, they are drinking lots of water.
