Cyn made this quilt top for me. I was shocked and overwhelmed with joy and happiness when I received it in the mail yesterday, and wanted to share it with all of you.

Cyn,
Oh my gosh, your generosity and kindness is overwhelming! I just can not believe you did this for me. The time and labor you have given for me is heartfelt. It brings me to tears (of joy and happiness!). Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You have truly enriched my life with your kindness and generosity. You know what .... I have been a quilter for years, and I have never received a quilt from anyone. This is my first! Oh yes, it will give me many years of warmth and enjoyment. Again, thank you so very very much, my dear dear friend!

It is so beautiful and will always be special to me. I love it!

Off with the old (I made this flannel quilt many years ago) ....

I have been wanting to change our bedroom. It is still the same as when we bought this house nearly 4 years ago. now I have a good excuse to get it done! I have some perfect fabric for country curtains that will work perfectly with this! Oh, now I am so excited to get this quilt quilted and finish the room! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

Kathy, it looks awesome on your bed!!!

I'm so happy you're pleased with it. I wish I could have gone ahead and quilted it for you, but then, you wouldn't have received it for years and years, LOL. It's where it belongs now.

Just beautiful job, Cyn!!! Kudos to your craftmanship!

And it looks so beautiful in your room, Kathy, and now time to change the curtains to match it if you got the time for it!

I hope to make some sort of quilt or at least, quilt top, for all my special friends as time permits. I'm not the most proficient quilter on the planet, but they usually turn out okay. Quilts are very forgiving of inept humans like myself, LOL.

I don't think quilts are forgiving of ineptitude- trying one sure showed my fumble fingers! Cynthia, good ones like yours and Kathy are works of art, and deserve a great deal of respect-you are definitely gifted!
