Can you believe it!!! Carolines two eggs have made it this far. Tonight I'm putting them in the hatcher. At least I have something after being eight days in the mail and temps. in the twenties and teens.

You mean Charlotte's (Ameraucana) eggs, right? I didn't send anymore of Caroline's (Buff Brahma), did I? Gosh, I really need to keep track of exactly what I actually sent people. I can't believe it's that time already! Wow, it sure does fly when someone else is doing the incubating, LOL!
I sure hope they refunded you part of the money since it's obvious from where it went and how much we paid for shipping that we paid Priority and they sent it parcel post.

Your right Charlottes..I get names mixed up all the time lol. They haven't called me yet so I might try to call her today.

I asked in Ducktown, Tn when I mailed pkgs there this week why yours would go to Atlanta. Well, we both know the answer-that's the bulk mail center for parcel post! Your pkg was supposed to go through Chattanooga like it did the first time.
I love it-when I told the guy in Ducktown that your pkg took a week unlike the first time when it took only two day, that it was sent Parcel Post, he says, " Well, 2 day delivery isn't guaranteed" like it was just fine for Priority to take a solid week, the same as parcel post! Well, then why on earth pay for Priority if it means absolutely nothing? The P.O. is out of control entirely. At least your pkg wasn't left in the snow in a driveway like happened in Colorado this week. I hope she posts that story on here. That carrier should be fired!

Well, the chicks had not done anything and so I pipped the end of the air cell. Both were DIS

They didnt absorb there yolk either. I think it is due to the chilling they endured in shipping? Darn PO. I hope they dont mess up this spring.

I have four silkies from bamas chickens. Pretty excited about those they are rocking away.

I cant remember where, but it said if they get chilled even early on that this could happen. I wanted you to know that they didnt hatch. The PO has totally to BLAME for this one. Your birds are healthy and beautiful and is just a shame I lost all the eggs. They sent the flaps to the PO worker that didnt mark priority and said they would get back to me after the holidays. I'm going to be persistent on this one and not let it go. I have bamachickens eggs to pick up on Tue/Wed which I'm having sent express because of the holidays. I will remind/ask the PO about my refund then to.

Well, I'm not at all happy in any way with the P.O. right now. They left someone else's eggs out in the snow out in the driveway on a windy day after assuring her they would not deliver. I even put DO NOT FREEZE along with all my usual stickers and the CALL CUSTOMER, the whole nine yards. She even personally went to the P.O. manager and talked to him about the eggs coming in beforehand. So, Christina, I'll make you a very good deal on the next set you have scheduled, okay?

It just ticks me off royally what they get away with.
