Should I put a a clean bandage on it with more antibiotic or no? After the bath

If you think she’ll mess with the antibiotic maybe bandage over night. And leave it off during the day. As long as she won’t be able to get her wounds nasty.

My thoughts on bathing... Ducks poop in the water, and poopy water is bad for open wounds, so I don't think I would let her bathe.

I bought blue kote should I use it instead of the triple antibiotic?

I'm watching her bathe. If she poops out she comes so I can refresh the water or dry her off... I put acv in the water too

Blue kote does dry where triple antibiotic stays moist so it maybe best to use the blue kote. It doesn't wash off as easy either.

How'd she do after her bath?

She did really well, she didn't fuss when I took her out - but it did seem to take her forever to dry herself even with me helping a little bit. She started to get tired out...
I msged @casportpony to ask about which to use, she said triple, but I ended up using the blu kote because my triple fell out of the bag and in my car (found it this morning). So, I now have a purple billed duck...


But I have to say she seems way more active this morning and more like herself

And I saw the start of bumblefoot on her one foot :/ she loves and trusts me, but she absolutely hates for me to dr her... she squirms more then anyone else!

Very pretty face too. I am sure casportpony knows more about what's best to use. I was mainly thinking if she can preen these areas she'd eat off the triple pretty quick. Happy to hear she is feeling better.
