Spencer is gone

I just went down to the bird pens and made a grewsome discovery. Spencer (because he was from Spencer, MA) was dead on the floor and his head is missing. I heard nothing. Probably a fisher cat or a racoon. This is horrible because I had just bought him a mate (from Brad Legg in KC, MO) I am really upset and will check the entire area for any breaches in the chain link and top netting.

Does anyone know of any IB males for sale in the central Mass area? I would need an adult male for KC (from Kansas City, MO).

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find out what happened and, if possible, prevent it from happening again.

You might want to put a barrier up 2-3 feet all the way around the bottom of the pen. Racoons will just reach in and grab, then pull out. So sorry..........
