Spent tea leaves??

So my fiancee and I both drink a lot of loose leaf tea (tea leaves are from the Camillia family) and just throw the leaves away once we are done. I got to thinking that instead of throwing the leaves away, would we be able to give them to the chickens???? Thank you all for any responses, I don't want to keep wasting the leaves if the chickens could eat them.

I toss my tea and coffee grounds in the front in the Hen Dig Area (as I call it, because that is what they decided to do )
