Spices for chevre goat cheese..?

    Hi Everyone!

    I'm making some Chevre and I want to spice it up a bit (make like an herb or garlic). I was wondering what spices to use and how much of each spice?

    Most common herb additions I've seen are fresh chopped chives or fresh thyme and pepper...

    I've seen it mixed in and I've seen a log ROLLED in the mixture.

    Although I haven't made it I would just suggest "less is more" until yo got it figured out. Keep experimenting until you have something your happy with. If you start out with too much--you've ruined the whole batch. Just keep notes on how much of each you used. And I personally think youcould add any type of herb, and it would complement the chevre. LOVE goat cheese!! (and someday will make some!)
