Does anybody make these and sell them? I just bought some at a local fair and they were delicious! I would love to try making them myself, but we are using our green beans for another recipe. I guess I could buy more, so if any one even has the recipe and could share it, that would be wonderful!

I would really like to purchase more already made ones though. I don't know if stuff like that can be shipped, but if you have some let me know! Or if you sell any other kind of pickled thing too. We made pickles here, but perhaps we could even trade?

Im interested too!! Anyone have any????

I make them all the time, and they're GREAT! My kids even eat them, though they usually hate spicy stuff. I got the recipe from Joy of Cooking:

Pack 2 to 2.5 pounds of trimmed green beans in hot jars. (4 pints, or 8 half pints) (I prefer the thinner beans rather than fat, stringy beans)

Add to each jar: 1/4 t. cayenne pepper, 1 clove garlic (I leave this out because garlic can go bad), 1 1/2 t. dill seed.

Bring to a boil: 2 1/2 cup water, 2 1/2 cup vinegar, and 1/4 cup salt. Pour mixture over the beans, leaving 1/4 in headroom. Process 15 minutes in boiling water bath.

Easy peasy!

I don't have a garden this year, because we moved, and I've been too busy to get to the farmer's market. I really ought to, though...
