I thought I would post this pic of an ucky spider, from a couple years ago. I was dragging a board to the coop to build a brooder hut when the board was flipped over, this fun gal was on the other side...hammer for size.

Looks like a black widow. Actually can make a nice pet if ya have the guts to watch it eat crickets...

Looks like a redback. Can't see the red spot though.
I think funnel webs have a bigger
head.

Oh and that hammer... Don't tell me you wasted a valuable moment to squish the vile beast. Feet work good until you forget you don't have shoes on.
