I found this article showing the different antibiotics and there effects on mycoplasma. I have never heard of spiramycin. It worked on 100% of hens tested. Does anyone have any info on spiramycin, egg withdrawal, where to buy, dosage, etc.
I have used denegard and it works well but the birds don't like to drink it.

I just looked at this sight where it said not available for commercial use in the US: https://www.drugs.com/mmx/spiramycin.html
That looks like they do sell it at Jedds and they also sell one that is combined with doxycycline--Spirodox.
Spiranycin seems to be a drug for treating mycoplasma that is similar to Tylan or oxytetracycline.

My turkey is sick with the mycoplasmid. Had to take him to the vet yesterday. It went into his blood. the vet put him on Tylan 50 400 mg intermuscular. He has improved overnight. I also have used the powder on my chickens, ducks, guineas, and peacocks in their drinking water and have not had no problems with them drinking it. It is one of the best antibiotics that will kill the plasmid buggers. You can buy it on line right now without a prescription. It is expensive, but well worth it. I don't know anything about the spiramycin but the vets do highly recommend Tylan for treating mycoplasma. I hope this helps
